The log is secured with the self-centering clamp and the drill rides on a sliding carriage base. The tenon cutter head is attached to the drill, and the drill is pushed by hand onto the log - cutting a consistently level, measured tenon. Welded steel construction, Teflon slides, super tough finish. Holds stock as small as 1 inch in diameter ... up to 5 1/4" in diameter! Portable.

Made to be used with the 1/2" Milwaukee Models 1663-20 / 1660-6 Drills
or the 3/4" Milwaukee Model 1854-1 Drill.
