Use this bit to cut a tapered funnel shape from your mortise hole. This allows the tapered end of the tenon to fit flush inside the connecting log.  Fits a 1/2 inch or larger drill.

Ideal for drilling a mortise hole into your log. Self feeding bits cut faster, improve balance and reduce runout.  The inside cutting plane shaves the hole radius for clean, smooth holes
without pressure.
