Ideal for drilling a 1 1/4" mortise hole into your log. these steel bits have teeth that are a skewed shear-cut design to prevent fiber pull and to give clean holes. Slightly sloped chipping bevels allow bits to ride a shallow cone of wood to keep them boring straight. Bits have been finished with extra-fine grinding wheels to reduce friction. these are a great value.
